HBCU College Coaches: Rocky Warner of American Tennis Association (ATA) South is hosting this WTN event December 2-3, 2023 in Atlanta, Georgia, and has invited you all to the event, as an opportunity to see some of the rising juniors and seniors who might just land themselves on your roster for Fall 2024/2025. 2023 HBCU Youth Recruiting Showcase
Congratulations to all the high school junior and senior tennis stars who attended the 2023 USTA Southern HBCU Recruiting Showcase at the South Fulton Tennis Center. Over 40 youth heard from 12 HBCU coaches, attended a mini-college fair, observed great collegiate matches, and had a chance to compete against other players from 12 different states. They were also treated to a college prep session that included USTA National staffers: Louis Bolling, Community Outreach Manager, Darnesha Moore, National Manager for Coaching Education, Training & Resources, and Darian Banks, Community Outreach Manager.
Special thanks to the City of South Fulton, South Fulton Tennis Center, Dr. Carl Goodman, Courage Okungbowa, Earl Wade, Robert Foster, Shelly Licorish, Sam Kennedy, Kathryn Early, Vedaza Pate, Miyanda Wynn, Jesus Villamizar Abia, and Jean Marie Simon for making this a successful event.

2022 HBCU Youth Recruiting Showcase Video
The 2022 HBCU Youth Showcase brought high schoolers from around the country together for an opportunity to showcase their talents and skills in front of the top HBCU institutions around the country. With over 25 coaches in attendance, high school students get the chance to speak to them about their program, and what it's like to attend their institution.
